- Where is Ella’s Beauty in London?
- Ella works from Rush Salon at 186-188 West End Lane, West Hampstead, London NW6 1SG — a two-minute walk from West Hampstead Thameslink. Mobile appointments are also available all across London; please contact us first to arrange one.
- What are the opening hours?
- Monday to Friday 10am – 10pm, Saturday 10am – 8pm and Sunday 12pm – 6pm. Evening and weekend slots book quickly, so reserve on Fresha as early as you can.
- Is Ella qualified and experienced?
- Yes. Ella has over 15 years of hands-on experience and has been fully qualified for over 8 years, specialising in luxury lash, brow, skin and makeup services with organic Russian-made products. She trained at the Beauty Academy, completed 4 further courses and 6 masterclasses, holds The Brow Detailist accredited diploma, and has won the Health & Beauty Awards (2019 and 2021), Best Brows at the Beauty Awards Moscow (2021), Most Innovative Beautician London (2021), Innovative Lash Creator of the Year (2022), the BABTAC & CIBTAC Awards (2023) and Best Lash Tech at the Lash Awards (2024). She also trains artists at the Ella’s Beauty Academy.
- Can you infill lashes done by another technician?
- No. Infills are only carried out on Ella’s own work, so the health of your natural lashes and the quality of the set can be guaranteed. For lashes from elsewhere, a removal and a fresh full set are required.
- When should I book my lash infill?
- Within 1–3 weeks of your last appointment, with at least 50% of the extensions still in place. Beyond that, or with fewer lashes remaining, a full set is needed.
- Do I need a patch test?
- If you are new to tint, lash lift, brow lamination or eyelash extensions, a complimentary 15-minute patch test is recommended 24–48 hours before your appointment. You can book this on Fresha at no charge.
- How long do eyelash extensions last?
- A full set typically looks its best for 2–3 weeks. Natural lashes shed in a cycle, so infills every two to three weeks keep the set even and protect lash health. Ella will map a style that suits the strength of your natural lashes rather than overloading them.
- What lash style should I choose?
- Classic or hybrid is ideal if you want a polished mascara effect. Russian volume is fluffier and more glamorous. Kim K adds textured spikes, Kendall elongates into a cat eye, and mega volume is the fullest look. Ella advises on length and curl for your eye shape during the appointment.
- How should I prepare for lashes or a lash lift?
- Arrive with clean lashes and no makeup or mascara on, and please do not wear contact lenses during the appointment. Avoid caffeine if you find it hard to keep still, and wear a top you do not need to pull over your head afterwards. For lifts and tints, skip oil-based eye products for 24 hours before.
- Can I book makeup for a wedding or event?
- Yes. Classic makeup, complex Arabic glam and bridal complex makeup are all available in salon or as a mobile appointment. For weddings, a trial is strongly recommended so the look, skin prep and timing are confirmed.
- Do you offer mobile appointments?
- Yes. Ella can bring lash, brow, makeup or skin treatments to your own address anywhere in London; a £30 mobile add-on covers travel. For mobile appointments please contact us first — WhatsApp is quickest — so timing and location can be confirmed.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- A 30% deposit secures every appointment and the balance is paid on the day. You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice and the deposit carries over; cancellations, repeated rescheduling or no-shows forfeit the deposit. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean the appointment is cancelled and the deposit lost. Full terms are on the Terms & conditions page.
- Are treatments suitable during pregnancy?
- Many brow and makeup services can be adapted, but lash adhesives, tints and some skin treatments are not always appropriate. Please mention pregnancy or any medical condition when you book so Ella can advise honestly.
- How do I book?
